hi. i'm allison and i'll be 19 in a month although i'm not excited because it just means i'm getting older yet i still can't (legally) drink. what's the fun in that? i'm a college student majoring in journalism and although it is my dream i am currently playing with the idea of becoming an english major, going to grad school for library science, and becoming a librarian. i'm currently at a point in my life where i'm trying to figure out who it is i want to be, and how exactly to go about doing that. i've spent most of my life living my my own fantasy world, and now that i'm starting to live in the real world i'm not sure it's something i like.
my interests include reading, writing, my dog, and musical theatre. i've had someone describe me as a "homebody" and i guess that's true even if i don't want it to be. i'm a huge harry potter fan (it's been 10 years now, oh wow) and am completely unapologetic about it--it's a pretty sane fandom compared to some others. i'm into a lot of different music although my faves are coldplay, corinne bailey rae, sade, sondre lerche, kanye west, drake, M.I.A., john mayer, kid cudi, jason mraz, and arctic monkeys older stuff (basically, anything before the new album because i hate it.) the only things i watch on tv are the soup, csi, svu, criminal minds, and wendy williams. i tend to be a bit of a cynic about things and sarcasm is a way of life for me.
if you want to add me, do it! i'm not at all picky about who i'll add as long as you think we have some stuff in common :). howevr, my journal is very personal and honest and something i hate is feeling like i have to censor myself. so if you're judgmental or don't want to read my opinions on things like sex, masturbation, or when i just make an entry about how woe is me, don't add me. thanks, hope to make some new friends! comment at my journal or just add me, doesn't matter to me :)

Bonjour. I'm Amy. 22. A girl...obviously and residing in Derbyshire when at home and Manchester when I am at uni. I'm at Manchester Met uni in my fourth year training to be a primary school teacher. It's hard work but will be worth it in the end. I hope!
I have a lovely boyfriend called Tom who I have been with for 14 months. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and no doubt, I will post entries either about my undying love for him or about times when he is just pissing me off. Haha.
I have just had a friend clear out and gotten rid of people who didn't update their journals or had taken no interest in chatting with me in the duration we had been added as friends. However, this may have also been down to me lacking in comments what with being busy on placement and what not. HOWEVER. This is to change. It's a new year and a new start so I am looking to add people who are regular updaters and comment once in a while. I don't expect comments on EVERY SINGLE POST but comments now and again would be lovely and I will try to do the same.
I'll try to keep this short as I hate it when I have to read large blocks of text [check out me splitting it into mini paragraphs to try and keep your attentions.... :P SNEAKY SNEAKY.]
At the moment, I am obsessed with Christmas, Horlicks, Taylor Lautner, all things Twilight basically, mince pies, tea, our new coal fire, Supernatural, Jensen Ackles' face, Henry Cavill, Livejournal, dissertation research [IDEK...], Gossip Girl, Ed Westwick in general etc etc.

I am a very random girl, 20 years old (although, I certainly don't act like it :s) and I'm also swedish.
I'm not new to LJ, but this account is :3 I started it yesterday, because I want a new and fresh start.

* I'm a fangirl. I fangirl anime, manga, YAOI, Harry Potter and Buffy the vampireslayer.
* I tend to fall in love with fictional characters. Such as Ron Weasley from Harry Potter, Spike from Buffy, and various anime/manga characters!
* My fandoms are: Harry Potter, Kyou Kara Maou, Kuroshitsuji, Fullmetal Alchemist, Junjou Romantica, and Buffy the Vampireslayer, of course ^^
* I will post about various things. Photos, fandoms, fanfics, icons, and also about my not-so-dramatic-life.
* I am unemployed, so I have LOTS of freetime. During that freetime, I spend my time looking for jobs, roleplay, write fanfics, read fanfics, read yaoi, read manga and such. If not, I am probably out with my friends ^^ I also like modeling.

25 years young woman. californian in colorado. vagabond & general misfit world-traveler. sometimes thinks a little too euro for a yank. does not always type in lower-case. eclectic audiophile. jetsetter w/ often-interfering obligations. travels to ireland 4-5 times a year when permitting. college student. has a variety of hobbies, some of which can be found in her interests list. I used to be great at writing intros but then learned that if people want to friend her or unfriend her they'll do it regardless of what an intro says. Add me, and if you like me: keep me. | Book 24 for 2009: Pirate Latitudes by Michael Crichton |

I am a Crichton fan and a pirate junkie. As the latter, this book satisfied me; as the former, it left a lot to be desired. As excited as I still am that I got to experience a new book by Crichton, that feeling is marred by the fact that this book was obviously not ready to be published. It lacks the character development and detailed descriptions that classified his previous novels. A quick, fun read, yes, but if you're expecting something akin to Sphere, Jurassic Park, or Congo...just go re-read those books. |

Well...Where to start? I don't really have a lot on my plate so...bear with me please.
My name is Jaymes and I am a 27 year old single man nestled in the center of an unusual state known as Florida. Yes you heard right, I called Florida unusual.

I am almost done in school with a degree in Film and Television (it's actually video, but It's close to television in my eyes). I LOVE movies and music. I am very eclectic in my selection of music, but I listen to a lot of Reggae, Christian and Rock. I like working in the television industry...yet I hate TV, I watch more movies than TV anyways. I am single, not really looking, whatever happens happens. I am drug free, smoke free, booze free and sex free, have been for 2 years and I am keeping it that way. I LOVE Working out! I miss doing the 5-6 day routine I used to do, but I am slowly getting back into it. Yes I still have muscle. I love food. I own a ferret and...well...honestly that's all I can think of lol.

Hi I'm new this LJ thing and I'm still learning how to navigate my way around it 0_0 which is sometimes confuses me since I'm sort of technologically retarded at times XD
I really like anime and talking and learning about different cultures. Especially food culture. I find the best way to understand a new culture is by experencing their food cause food can be so intimate and can say alot about a person.
I'm really easy going and I'll comment your entries so if you want to friend me and you think we may have stuff in common or can learn from each other then go ahead ^_^ |
